My experience with wasps
My experience with wasps.
When I was 9 years old I lived in a town called Zozocolco, where my mother's whole family lives. One day we went with my grandparents to get some firewood to cook outside, my older brother went with me while my grandmother and my sister minor left together.
After a while looking for firewood that was
dry, we saw some branches that were stuck in a tree for which I told my brother
to go up and take them down while I was picking them up, he threw a branch
towards some trees that were a little low so as not to hit myself, I got in
without noticing that there was a wasp nest stuck to that branch and when I
tried to reach it, the wasps began to attack me and that's when they stung me
on the forehead, eyes and arm. I began
to cry hard until my grandparents went to catch me and already tried to remove
the stingers of these wasps, but the whole face and arms were swollen.
When I
got home my mom was quite surprised by the way I arrived and afraid that due to
the number of wasps it could be poisonous for me, she took me to the doctor to
consult me and give me medicine because I had a fever, and a lot of pain.
The
doctor was amazed to see me and told me that I had to inject myself so that the
wasp venom would not harm me, to which I agreed and he gave me some very
painful injections for 2 days little by little he began to deflate my face and
my arms, afterwards I felt better.
Without a doubt it was a great lesson for me, now I look before I go somewhere and from that moment I have a lot of fear and respect for wasps.
